Echinacea, Purple Coneflower

  • $4.00

Description

Echinacea purpurea

Echinacea is a prized summer bloomer, medicinal, and wildlife-feeder!

The North American perennial has long been used for its medicinal properties. Distinctive purple flowers cover the plant in summer, and birds love the nutritious seeds in winter. Moderately drought-tolerant, it can handle sun or part shade, and makes a superb cut flower.  May contain chaff.

For more information about growing the plant, visit the USDA plant guide.
