Brassica juncea

Ne’er was there a more beautiful sight than she, streaking across the garden.

This stunning variety is a Frank Morton original, and that wacky guy never disappoints. Shaped like  mizuna, but with the intense purple and zesty bite of Red Giant. Uber-finely serrated leaves make this one a standout for mixes. 20 days for baby leaves, 40 for full size. Open-pollinated.

Seeds grown by Field Goods Farm in Boise, Idaho.

200 seeds.

Directions: Direct seed in spring in 2” wide bands. Or, start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost and transplant out after. 6” apart for big leaves, or 2”spacing for  cut-and-come-again for salads. 21 days for baby greens, 40 for full size.
