Cucurbita pepo

Dual purpose heirloom squash. Tender young summer squash maturing into a decorative gourd!

The mother of all native American squash. Eaten young, it’s the quintessential summer squash. As it matures, its skin grows increasingly hard and warty, at which point it can be eaten like a winter squash or used as a decoration. 53 days for summer squash.
